The Edon Branch Library will be holding a Chick Candling Program that all ages are welcome to attend. Chick Candling is a method used to study the growth and development of a chicken embryo inside an egg. The method uses a bright light source behind the egg to show details through the shell. This FREE program is part of the library Spring educational natural science display and will be held on Wednesday, May 02 at 10:00 am. John Schoenhals will be instructing the Chick Candling and will then be answering questions. Participants will be able to see the growing baby chicks, while they’re still in their eggs!
The Edon Branch Library is located at 105 South Michigan Street. For more information, please contact Cyndi Jewell at 419-272-2839.
