Stryker Branch Library Summer Reading 2024

The Stryker Branch Library will hold summer reading programs through June 3rd and July.  “Adventure Begins at Your Library” and this year there will be stories, games, activities, music, prizes, and special visitors all included in the summer fun!

Team Zoom Canine Entertainment, June 4th, 11:00AM                                       

From stunts, to tricks, and dance routines the Zoom dog performers put on an amazing show for all ages! 

Jumpin’ Teenz, June 4th, 5:00PM               

Take & Make Crafts, Wednesdays in June, 9:00AM-6:00PM   

Laurel Jane Kirchner from WBGU-PBS Station, June 5th, 1:00PM, Take home a FREE book! 

Professor Tony (A Professor of Nonsense & Throwing Things), June 6th, 11:00AM            

Tony will put a wildly fun show for all ages featuring comedy, juggling, magic, & audience participation!           

Drummunity! Led By Lori Fithian, June 11th, 11:00AM, Open To All Ages      

Make a Drummunity circle with percussive instruments and have rhythmic fun as a community!

This is a fun and active program as kids get the chance to keep up with some of Jim’s basketball moves. Jim will challenge them to do their best and keep trying. Open to all ages.

The Exotic Zoo is a safe & educational way to learn about wild animals. Come see, feel, feed, & observe  animals that we don’t normally see in our community! You never know what animal you’ll meet!

Lauren Stewart ODNR-Maumee Bay State Park, June 25th, 11:00AM               

Join ODNR naturalist in making wildflower seed balls and learn how to protect pollinators!

Nature’s Nursery Wildlife Rehabilitation & Conservation Center Program, June 26th, 1:00PM                                                                         

 Summer Reading Celebration with Just Add Kidz Bounce House!, June 27th, 1:00PM

Let’s have a Summer Reading Party! There will be games, fun food, crafts, prizes, and a bounce house!          

Summer Fun Day at Springfield Township Park Shelter House, June 28th, 12:00PM –4:00PM                                                                                               

Visit with Outreach Manager Loni Smith; play yard games, listen to music and story time. Ride in Furry Oversized Animal Karts from Four of a Kind Entertainment from 12pm to 3pm. There will be a free book giveaway and free bottled water while supplies last.
