The Stryker Branch Library will be holding a book signing featuring, singer and author, Olivia Millerschin on Saturday, February 23rd, from 9:30 to 10:30 am. Recently, Millerschin “unintentionally” wrote an upbeat song that turned into a children’s book. Her newest project, the hard-cover, 16-page book is called, “Cactus On A Ledge.” The book tells the tale of a small, meek cactus who dreams of becoming a big, strong tree.
At the library event, Olivia will discuss how the book was born from an accidental song, read it to her audience, sing and play the song with her ukelele and sign copies to those wishing to purchase the book that day.
