Ohio First Lady Fran DeWine holds Story Time at Bryan Main Children's Library

Yesterday was an amazing day at WCPL, as the Ohio First Lady, Fran DeWine visited the Bryan Main “Rachel & Elwood Donohue Children’s Library”, and held the first story time in the newly renovated space! Mrs. DeWine read the 50th Anniversary Golden Edition of, “The Very Hungry Caterpillar” by Eric Carle. Cookies were then given out to the large crowd of children who attended.

At the event, the Ohio First Lady also spoke briefly on the Ohio Governor's Imagination Library, which works in conjunction with Dolly Parton's Imagination Library to give out free books to children each month, newborn through age 5. If you are a Williams County resident, you can sign your child up to receive books through the United Way of Williams County, who partnered with WCPL for this Story Time event with the Ohio First Lady.

Thank you again Ohio First Lady, Fran DeWine for visiting the WCPL Bryan Main Library! This event was such a special way to celebrate National Library Week, and will always be remembered!
