A Minecraft Club, for youth in 3rd grade through High School, will be starting at the Local History Center! The club will be held weekly in the upstairs Computer Lab, from 3:30 to 5:30 pm, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, beginning on April 03. Sessions will take place on Tuesdays for students in Jr. High through High School, and students in 3rd through 6th grade will meet on Thursdays. Club meetings will be free build sessions, except the last meeting of each month which will be a themed build. Each themed build will have a new special challenge, such as building a landmark, castle, or a Bryan building. The challenges will have prizes! The Minecraft Club is free to attend. During Minecraft Club meetings, the computer lab will be closed to all members of the public who are not attendants of the club. Computers will be available to use in the Local History Center, and the Bryan Main Library Adult Department. The Local History Center is located at 107 E. High Street.
