Mapping Williams County: Vintage Maps & How They Are Made
At the Local History Center on November 29th, 6:00PM
Join Programming Manager Denver Henderson and Local History Manager Jared Schnee as they delve into the earliest surveying and map making of Williams County. Also covered in this program will be land records, the 1874 & 1894 county atlases and the 1904 plat book. Patrons will be able to closely exam the first map of Bryan and a recent acquisition: the famed 1864 wall map of the county. This is a FREE EVENT.
