On Saturday, June 09 from 10:00 to noon, children’s author and illustrator Joseph Rader will be holding a book signing at the Bryan Main Library in the Carnegie Room. Joseph has written the Christian children’s series, “When I…” The first book in the series, “When I… (feelings)” helps little ones learn how to deal with their emotions, such as being sad or angry, from a biblical viewpoint. After publishing “When I... (feelings)” Mr. Rader was inspired to write the “When I…(feelings) Study Edition” This follow up book, takes eight of the emotions found in “When I…(feelings)” along with four new emotions, mixes old artwork with new, and takes things a little deeper. Each emotion in the book is coupled with questions for children and parents to go over and answer together, along with a corresponding Bible verse. It is extremely helpful in teaching children how to walk by faith and not by sight.  Joseph’s 3rd book in the series, “When I… (actions)” was very recently released in March 2018, and deals with children’s behaviors. “When I… (actions)” teaches kids one major tool in dealing with temptations and wrong desires. Filled with fun temptations, rhyming flow, and an important message little ones will love reading this book with parents! Joseph’s book will be available at the book signing. Snacks and refreshments will also be provided by the library.  The Bryan Main Library is at 107 East High Street. For more information, please contact Kylee Alemdar at (419) 636-6734 ext. 274.
