Easy Sewing Class

Children ages 8-up can learn some easy sewing skills with the sewing machine and also hand sewing while making a craft that they can take home and enjoy or give as gifts.

National Space Day Display

It's National Space Day, so the Library will have a space display for patrons to look at and when they check out from the display, the patrons will get a special treat.

Kid's Garden Club

At West Unity Branch Library

Wednesdays in May, 4:00PM

Children and teens will plan, plant, weed and tend to the garden beds on the Library lawn. They will also play garden games, make crafts and other garden activites. During the harvest time attendees will collect the produce and put out to share with patrons that visit the Library. Community members also add some of their vegetables to ours.

 All ages are welcome! 

Bloomin' Reads Book Bundle

Through the Month of May, During Open Hours

May is Book Bundle month, children can pick up a bundle of themed books to check out for Bloomin' Reads. Put your name on the cut out attached to the bundle for a prize at the end of the month.

Senior Fun Day, Friday, April 26th, 12:30PM-2:30PM

Calling all seniors 60-up. Come to the library on March 19th from 12:30-2:30 for an afternoon of puzzles, Trivia, Bingo, adult coloring pages, a Euchre Tournament (assisted by Laura Shultz, Senior Center Site Manager) and more! We will have something for everyone, including snacks.

National Library Week, April 8th-12th, During Open Hours

During open hours, patrons can participate in passive activities, guessing jar and when they check out books they get a ticket that will be entered into a drawing for a basket of prizes. If you sign up for a new Library card you will receive 10 tickets toward the drawing.

Homeschooling Day: Arbor Day, Friday, April 26th, 10:00AM

Celebrate Arbor Day with Josh Fritsch, West Unity Village Administrator. Josh will talk to homeschooling families about arbor day and trees. There will be an activity as well!
