Pioneer Summer Reading

Join us for our Summer Reading Program, full of exciting programs and events!  Program begins June 8 - July 13.

Conservation Crusaders
Mondays at 1:00 p.m.

  • This is a special program offered by the Williams County Soil & Water Conservation District. The program runs for 6 weeks where "Crusaders" will learn about insects & pollinators, composting, recycling, and so much more!  All activities will happen in the Library Canopy Tent.  Pre-Registration is strongly encouraged.

Super Twisters
Tuesdays at 1:00 p.m.

  • Story time, games , crafts and activities.  Themes include Who is a Hero?, Spectacular Sidekicks, Training Camp, Historical Heroes and Animal Heroes!

Eaglets (for ages 2 1/2 - 5)
Thursdays at 11:00 a.m.

  • Themed Story time, crafts and games!

Special Programs

Super Astronauts
June 17 at 11:00 a.m. Learn about the 23 heroes from Ohio who became astronauts .

Zooper Challenge
July 8 at 11:00 a.m.  The Toledo Zoo will visit with educational and interactive fun with animals.

Nerdfighters (ages 10 - 18)
June 24 at 11:00 a.m.

Greek Mythology (ages 10 - 18)
July 15 at 11:00 a.m.

Closing Party 
July 14 at 1:00 p.m.  
Special guests Johnny, the Tin Caps mascot, and some special Super Heroes will be attending so bring your cameras!
