Tell us a little about yourself. I was born in Oklahoma, and moved to Northwest Ohio when I was 11. At age 22, I became the library Marketing & PR Manager, and have been in the position for over 12 years. I enjoy time outdoors with my husband and 2 kids. And reading of course! 2. What do you enjoy about being the Marketing Manager? How different my job is everyday. There is always something new to work on. Whether it’s our social media pages, publicity for an upcoming event, or putting together this newsletter, I am always busy. 3. What is a service that WCPL offers that you wish the community were more aware of? Myself, and coworkers Loni Smith and Tyson Horton put together weekly YouTube episodes of what’s happening at the library, titled “Overdue Conversations”. Each episode includes highlighted events for all of our locations, along with information on services offered at the library, and our reading recommendations. Make sure to follow our WCPL YouTube channel! 4. Favorite book? Throne of Glass series by Sarah J Maas. 5. What are you looking forward to with Summer Reading? I love the theme this year “Dig Into a Story”. To go with that, you’ll see lots of fun dinosaur and archaeology programs at all of our locations!
