Adult Weekly Programs

Starting in September, the Bryan Main Library will hold a couple weekly programs for adults! “Coffee and Crafts” will be held every Wednesday, from 10:00 to 11:00 am. Wake up every Wednesday morning with a cup of delicious coffee, and a fun, creative craft! “Fiber Friends” will meet on Thursdays from 5:30 to 7:30 pm.

Volunteers Needed for Harry Potter Lock-In

The Williams County Public Library is looking for adults, ages 18 and older, to volunteer for the upcoming Harry Potter Lock-In! The event will be held at the Bryan Main Library on Saturday, November 10 from 7:00 to 11:00 pm. Volunteers will supervise teens and run activities during the lock-in. Volunteers need to be comfortable interacting with teens and be available for the 4-5 hours of the event. If you are a Harry Potter fan, or simply want to be more involved in community activities, then this is the perfect event for you!

Celebrate the 4th Annual Bryan Oktoberfest

Dust off your dirndls and lederhosen, it’s that time of year again! On Saturday, October 6 come celebrate the 4th annual Bryan Oktoberfest! This year the event will be put on by the Williams County Public Library. Held on Walnut Street, and at the Bryan Main Library, the German festival will transport you to little Bavaria, from 5:00 pm to midnight. There will be themed games and contests, such as the autobahn race for kids, and the masskrugstemmen contest for adults.

Chess Club Starting

The Bryan Main Library will be hosting a weekly Chess Club, on Tuesdays from 2:00 to 4:00 pm, starting on Tuesday, June 19. The library will be offering free classes, open to all ages. Come learn the basics of chess, or if you already know how to play, then simply attend to improve your skills! All chess boards will be provided by the library.  The Bryan Main Library is located at 107 East High Street. For more information, please call the Adult Desk at 419-636-6734 ext. 221.
