Come visit the Williams County Public Library for afternoon tea aboard the RMS Titanic!  This event, sponsored by the Local History Center, offers the taste of a bygone era with a nautical flair: a traditional English tea as it would have been served on the legendary ocean-liner. The afternoon will include cucumber sandwiches and other delicacies, a special blend of Titanic tea brewed to perfection, and a display of Titanic themed artifacts by Mr. Richard Cooley. There will be other treats, and a special sweet to take home. Also explored will be Williams County’s connection to one of the greatest disasters of the 20th Century. The tea will be held on the ‘hospitality deck’ in the Bryan Main Library Carnegie Room, commencing at 12:00 pm on Saturday, April 21st.  There is no charge to attend, but we do ask that you book a reservation to board, as space is limited.  The Bryan Main Library is located at 107 East High Street. Call Jane or Denver at (419) 636-6734 ext. 275 to get your boarding pass today!
