STEAM Learning Stations

The Edon Branch Library will be setting up several STEM learning stations throughout the library for patrons to experience, starting on Friday, January 19! STEAM is an educational approach to learning that uses Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Mathematics as access points for guiding inquiry, dialogue, and critical thinking. Library visitors can sit down at one of several learning stations which include looking through a microscope, working on critical thinking skills through building sets, checking out the nature science exhibit with pelts, skulls, nests, snakeskins, and more! This is an ongoing program at the library, with the exhibits being routinely changed out. The Edon Branch Library is located at 105 South Michigan Street.
