Senior Scam Prevention

Scams have become an increasingly problematic issue within the Williams County area, where senior citizens have become both targets and victims. To help combat the issue, Sheriff Kochert and the Edon Branch Library will host a Senior Scam Prevention Program on Thursday, August 11th at 1:00 pm. Participants will be instructed on the warning signs of fraud and how to prevent being scammed. Light refreshments will be served and there will be a discussion following the conclusion of the program. Registration is not required for this FREE event.
