Celebrate Right to Read Week, May 13-17, at the Stryker Branch Library! Take part in exciting programs with this year’s theme “Thirsty for a Good Book”. Area students are invited to visit the library to join in on afterschool activities, guessing jars, and more! All programs will run from 3:15 to 4:00 pm, unless otherwise stated. Each day of Right to Read Week will hold something special. On Monday, May 13 there will be Game Day in the Desert. On Tuesday, May 14 take part in sand art, then go on a scavenger hunt! “Read to Me” will be held on Wednesday, May 15. Afterschool on Thursday, May 16 snack on popcorn while watching the movie “Mary Poppins Returns” (rated PG). Stop in all day on Friday, May 17 and get challenged with our “Seek and Find” jars, where you will test out your guessing skills with the library guessing jars.
