On Monday, November 19 Bobbi Schlosser, who has written and illustrated the book, Pilgrim will be holding a book reading at the Stryker Branch Library from 3:15 to 4:00 pm. The book accounts the true Thanksgiving rescue of Mrs. Schlosser’s cat Pilgrim, and teaches that the smallest kindness is never too small! This book is the perfect read for the Thanksgiving holiday.
According to the author’s biography, “Bobbi is an accomplished artist and has won numerous awards and is the past president of the Black Swamp Art Guild. She has seven grandchildren, and she and her husband, Dave, live in a cottage by the creek that you see in the book. She hopes that her message of caring extends to all that read Pilgrim.” Following the reading of Pilgrim, there will be a book signing along with refreshments.
