Children’s author and popular singer, Olivia Millerschin will be visiting the Bryan Main Library, in the Carnegie Room, at 1:00 pm on Saturday, May 18th.
Recently, Millerschin “unintentionally” wrote an upbeat song that turned into a children’s book. Her newest project, the hard-cover, 16-page book is called, “Cactus On A Ledge.” The book tells the tale of a small, meek cactus who dreams of becoming a big, strong tree.
At the library events, Olivia will discuss how the book was born from an accidental song, read it to her audience, sing and play the song with her ukelele and sign copies to those wishing to purchase the book that day.
