The Sport of Kings comes to the Williams County Public Library! The ladies and gents won’t have to travel to Churchill Downs to see “the greatest two minutes in sports”, as WCPL will be celebrating the 145th running of The Kentucky Derby with a Derby Viewing Party. Hosted by the WCPL Local History Center, the festivities will start at 6:00 pm on Saturday, May 4th with hors d’oeuvres and libations, along with an explanation of such terms as ‘trifecta’. Come watch the excitement on our large screen to see if you win, place, or show!

The event will be held in the Carnegie Room of the Bryan Main Library. As always, Derby apparel --- decorative hats for the ladies, bowties for gents --- is encouraged. Rest assured, this is not a tea party, but as close as we can get to the Derby!

There is no admission fee for this event. You must be age 21 and older to attend. Space is limited, so please register by stopping by the Local History Center, located on the northeastern corner of High and Main Streets in Bryan, Ohio, or call (419) 636-6734, ext. 275.
