The West Unity Branch Library will be holding a Couples Cooking Class on Saturday, September 29 at 10:00 am. Couples will learn how to make recipes with apples. Library Branch Manager, Ruth Meyer will demonstrate Apple Strudel, stretching the dough until it is see-through, then brushing the whole thing with melted butter. Participants will make applesauce and apple butter, with Victorio Strainer, and learn how to use the leftovers to make Cinnamon Apple Jelly. As always there will be samples of all the recipes to share with your partner. Couples will also get to take home a jar of applesauce to enjoy. This program is FREE to the public. You must preregister by Thursday, September 27, as class size is limited to 20 participants. The West Unity Branch Library is located at 109 South High Street.
