The Pioneer and Stryker Branch Libraries are excited to bring to you the new, creative program, Altered Books! Join us each Thursday evening, September 2nd through October 7th, from 5 pm to 8 pm, to create your own artistic book, using a discarded book. The Pioneer program will be instructed by WCPL staff member Jenny, and the Stryker program will be instructed by WCPL staff member Samantha. Books and supplies will be provided by the library, but you may bring items from home to personalize your book. Examples of items to bring are photos, paints, paper goods, paper punches, envelopes, and other embellishments. An introductory video on Altered Books will be posted to the Williams County Public Library Facebook page and YouTube channel on Thursday, August 19 at 10 am. Make sure to tune in, and see amazing examples of book designs you are able to make in the program!

The Altered Books program is for teens and adults, and is FREE to attend. Registration is required, as spots are limited.
