The Williams County Public Library, with branches in Bryan, Edgerton, Edon, Pioneer, Stryker and West Unity, will be closed on Monday, January 21st for Martin Luther King Jr. Day and staff in-service.
The Stryker Branch Library would like to invite area children to make an appointment to reserve their time to come and read to a visiting therapy dog. “Tail Waggin’ Tutors” will be held at the library on the third Thursday of each month, starting on January 17th. Following sessions will be held on the Thursdays of February 21st, March 21st, and April 18th. From 3:15 to 4:00 pm, children in preschool through 6th grade will be able to read in 15 minute intervals to Miya the therapy dog.
The Stryker Branch Library will offering their annual “winter reads” program from January 22nd through March 2ndcalled Bundle Up and Read. All area children are invited to head over to the library and participate in the fun program by following these four easy steps.
Make your own sugar scrub from all natural ingredients, during the program “Rita Faye’s Essentials” at the Stryker Branch Library. Held on Thursday, January 24th at 5:30 pm, the class will be instructed by Rita Ruffer. This is a free adult program, but you must register to attend by Monday, January 21st this class has a limited amount of spaces available.
