Santa Claus is coming to the library! On Monday, December 4th jolly old Saint Nick will be making a special appearance at the Stryker Branch Library’s “Christmas Open House,” which runs from 5:00 to 6:30 pm. Children will have the opportunity to visit and share their Christmas wishes with Santa and Mrs. Claus! There will also be live music, crafts, prizes, holiday movies playing, and Christmas cookies with punch to snack on. Bring in your wish list and receive a special gift. Parents don’t forget your cameras! This program is free to the public.
Adults are invited to attend the workshop, “The Art of Cut Paper” at the Stryker Branch Library on Thursday, November 30. Instructed by Mary Gaynier, the class will run from 5:30 to 7:00 pm. There is no cost to attend, but you must preregister by Friday, November 24. Class size is limited to 20 participants. The Stryker Branch Library is located at 304 South Defiance Street. Come and build your very own Gingerbread House at the Stryker Branch Library on Monday, November 13 starting at 6:00 pm. You must pre-register by November 10th as there is limited availability of 40 individuals, or 3 Gingerbread Houses per family. Parents and grandparents are encouraged to attend this event and take part in a fun family friendly Christmas tradition. The Stryker Branch Library is located at 304 S. Defiance Street.
