The Pioneer Branch Library has partnered with local restaurant, Logger’s Lounge to offer a reading challenge, with a punch card reward, for adults. The “Reading Has Its Rewards” program will begin on August 01 and will run through January 31. Adult library card holders will be put to the test with a goal to read 10 books checked out from the Pioneer Branch Library. With each book read, you will receive a punch on your punch card.
Build your own bird house at the Pioneer Branch Library, on Wednesday, July 18 at 1:00 pm. This perfect summer program is open to all ages, including adults. The only requirement is that you are able to use a hammer and small nails. Paint will be available to decorate the project, so wear an old shirt. This event is FREE to attend. Sign up will begin on Monday, July 02, and class size is limited to 25 participants. The Pioneer Branch Library is located at 106 Baubice Street. The Pioneer Branch Library will be closed on Saturday, July 14 for the Kaleb McLaughlin Memorial. All other branches of Williams County Public Library, with locations in Bryan, Edgerton, Edon, Stryker, and West Unity, will remain open normal hours of 9:00 am to noon.
The Pioneer Branch Library will be hosting the music program Just Kiddin’ Around on Tuesday, July 10 at 1:00 pm. Elisa and Chuck Hage started Just Kiddin’ Around 31 years ago, and continue to entertain families with young children through this fun, interactive program. At the event, the kids are the stars of the show, as they sing, move and laugh, to an hour of silly songs, and musical activities! This FREE program will be held at the Pioneer Community Center, which is located at 101 North Elm St, Pioneer, OH 43554. The Pioneer Branch Library is at 106 Baubice Street.
