The Pioneer Branch Library will be holding a Winter Tea on Wednesday, February 27th from 1:00 to 2:30 pm. Whisk away the winter chill with a cup of heartwarming tea, shared with friends at your community library, and warm your heart with moving excerpts from Poets Laureate. This is a FREE adult program, but you must register to attend by noon on Tuesday, February 26th, as the event is limited to 15 participants. The Pioneer Branch Library will be hosting a Noah's Ark Animal Workshop, on Saturday, February 23rd, from 10:00 to 11:00 am. Children will listen to the book Gingerbread Friends by Jan Brett be read, and will then build their own Gingerbread Dog! There no cost for this event, but you must preregister to attend by Thursday, February 21st. The Noah’s Ark Animal Workshop is a mobile stuffed animal workshop, where participants bring their very own stuffed animal to life. During the workshop, attendants hand-stuff their own plush pal!!
On Friday, February 1st the Pioneer Branch Library will be holding “Bingo for Books” from 3:00 to 4:15 pm. Try your luck at Bingo, and if you win, you get a free book! The whole family is invited to warm up during the winter at the Pioneer Branch Library with a hot breakfast! On Saturday, February 16th, at 10:00 am, the library will be serving snowman pancakes, along with coffee and hot chocolate. Participants will also get to make a love-themed craft! Come make your own heart shaped sun catcher, perfect for an after Valentines gift! This is a FREE event, open to all ages. You must register to attend by Thursday, February 14th, as the program is limited to 20 participants.
