Quest for the Raven King Teen Night

The Bryan Main Library will be holding a “Quest for the Raven King” teen night, for ages 10 to 15 on Friday, October 19. From 5:30 to 7:00 pm, get caught up in the Raven Cycle, an addicting novel series that will be brought to life. Test your sixth sense’s perception during this evening of adventure and pursuit to find the Raven King! This program is FREE to attend. The library will not be able to take phone calls during the program. All parental arrangements should be made prior to the event.

Calligraphy Class

The Bryan Main Library is offering a four week adult Calligraphy Class starting on Monday, October 29, with consecutive classes following on November 5, 12, and 19. Kathy Funderburg will be your guide into the basics of calligraphy! All classes will run from 5:30 to 7:00 pm, in the Carnegie Room. In order to attend this course, guests need to be pre-registered and pre-paid by Friday, October 26. The cost to register is $10.00. Act fast, because the class size is limited to 12 students!

The Wolf: Fact vs. Myth

Attend the presentation, “The Wolf: Fact vs. Myth” at the Bryan Main Library on Wednesday, October 17 from 6:30 to 7:30 pm. Learn about the family life, hunting habits, and folklore of the wolf. This event will be held in the Carnegie Room, and a LIVE WOLF will be at the library throughout the presentation. all ages are welcome to attend this FREE program. Foxes & Folklore

Learn about “Foxes and Folklore” on Thursday, October 11 from 6:30 to 7:30 pm, at the Bryan Main Library. Foxes have been featured in art, fairy tales, and stories throughout history. Come hear the tales and popular mythology that feature foxes, and also learn basic facts on red foxes; the most recognized fox species. You will get to meet a LIVE FOX at the presentation, which will be held in the Carnegie Room. This event is open to all ages, and is FREE to attend. The Bryan Main Library is located at 107 East High Street.
