The Edon Branch Library will be holding the adult class, “Going Native” on Monday, April 1st from 5:30 to 7:00 pm. A representative from the Ohio Department of Natural Resources will teach on the importance of sustaining native Ohio plants and animal habitats, and how these plants and animals improve our environment. According to the ODNR website, “A healthy and diverse ecosystem is important for clean air, water, soil stability, and provides critical food and shelter for wildlife.” This FREE program will be packed with helpful and interesting information.
On Friday, March 29th, starting at 7:00 pm, the Edon Branch Library will be having a Family Dinner & Movie Night! Families are invited to enjoy a FREE and relaxing night out at the library! Come in your jammies for a cozy evening of entertainment. Watch the new release, Mary Poppins Returns (rated PG) on the 90” screen, in front of the library fire place.
The Edon Branch Library is inviting adults to attend a “Chalk Couture” class on Monday, March 25th, from 5:30 to 7:00 pm. Chalk Couture is the newest and easiest way to express your creativity! Instructed by Cyndi Stoller, attendants will use vinyl transfers, along with non-toxic water soluble pastes, to create beautiful custom works of art. There is no cost to attend, but you must register by Wednesday, March 20th, as class size is limited to 15 participants. The Edon Branch Library is located at 105 South Michigan Street.
The Edon Branch Library will be holding an Essential Oils Class on Monday, March 18th. Instructor Rhonda Bockover will be teaching on how essential oils can aid in lowering inflammation.
