The Local History Center is inviting adults to a paper doll crafting program at WCPL Local History Center on Wednesday, August 08 from 1:30 to 4:00 pm. Local paper crafter JoEllen Culbertson will show you how to create not only paper dolls using paper piecing technique, but also a box card and mini album to carry your creations.

Pop the collar on your Izod, put some Blondie in your Walkman, and head to the Williams County Public Library for the second event of the I’ll Take Series, “I’ll Take the 80’s” Hosted by the Local History Center, the 1980’s event will be held on Friday, July 20 from 6:30 to 8:00 pm, in the Carnegie Room of the Bryan Main Library.
The Local History Center is inviting adults to a paper doll crafting program at WCPL Local History Center on Wednesday, June 13 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm. Pam Lash, local paper crafter and LHC staff member, will be imparting her knowledge of paper stamping along with tips for paper crafting in a program to accompany WCPL’s Summer Reading events. The event will be held in the Harmon Room of the Local History Center. Seating is limited, so registration is required by Monday, June 11.
“Casablanca,” will be played on Friday, May 25 at 1:00 pm. The 1942 classic tells the story of a cynical nightclub owner who protects an old flame and her husband from Nazis in Morocco. Popcorn will be provided, and attendants are welcome to bring in a beverage. The Local History Center is located at 107 East High Street.
