Do you think opera sounds like people screaming? That jazz is noise? That showtunes are sappy and dumb? Do you believe you’ve never experienced either of these musical styles? That opera, jazz, and showtunes are not a part of your daily life?

Thanksgiving, 2010. Three boys disappear, as if from the face of the earth, never to be seen again. Only their father knew the truth. A truth he never revealed. The search for Andrew, Alexander, and Tanner Skelton carried on during the frigid months of that winter, while all over our region – and the nation – people searched for the missing boys.
Come visit the Williams County Public Library for tea aboard the RMS Titanic!
This event, sponsored by the Local History Center, offers the taste of a bygone era with a nautical flair: a traditional English tea as it would have been served on the legendary ocean-liner. The morning will include cucumber sandwiches and other delicacies, a special blend of Titanic tea brewed to perfection, and a visit by a crew member from the doomed ship.
The Local History and Genealogy Center is planning an informational, hands-on program on its computer database services to promote genealogical interests. Each session will include a how-to-use experience on Ancestry, Heritage Quest, Fold 3, Obituary Search, and the Ohio Death Certificate Index.
