The Williams County Public Library, with branches in Bryan, Edgerton, Edon, Pioneer, Stryker and West Unity, will be closed on Monday, January 21st for Martin Luther King Jr. Day and staff in-service.
On Friday, January 18th the Edgerton Branch Library will be holding “Bingo for Books” from 3:30 to 4:30 pm. Winners who get a Bingo get to choose a free NEW book! This event is open to school-aged children, and you must pre-register to attend by Wednesday, January 16th as the number of participants is limited. Create a decorative letter “L” out of old books at the Edgerton Branch Library on Wednesday, January 30th, from 5:30 to 6:30 pm. Presenter, Paulette Polley will teach participants how they can turn a recycled book into a decorative letter, embellished with items signifying Valentine’s Day! Your finished letter can be used to decorate your house, or can be given as a one of a kind gift! This is a FREE adult program. As this class is limited to 18 participants, you must register to attend by Monday, January 28th.
The Edgerton Branch Library invites 4th and 5th graders to join “The Breakfast Club”. “The Breakfast Club” is a fun book club that includes a hot, homemade breakfast! Come in your jammies at 9:00 am, on Saturday, January 12th, and discuss the book, “Airball-My Life in Briefs” by L.D. Harkrader. As this book has an AR book level of 4.4, and is worth 6 AR points, participants will be able to use this book to help meet their AR goal at school.
