
Each of our six library locations has their own Friends group who help support the library by raising funds for purchasing books, audio-visual materials, supplies, and furniture and sponsoring events like our summer reading program.
Friends group members also hold annual book sales to raise funds and help out with special programming at all of our library locations.

The Friends promote continued growth, development and use of the library by people of all ages and interests. Memberships and money raised from donations and fund raisers like the annual used book sale enable the Friends to provide services, equipment, and programs for the library.

Join the Friends of the Edgerton Branch Library and help support our community library during Summer Reading, for special projects and events, and all year round with funds for book and supply purchases for the library.
Friends members also help volunteer to assist with story times and other special events.

The Edon Friends of the Library help sponsor many special events at the Edon Branch including donations for refreshments, the ongoing sponsorship of the "Internet Cafe", and the purchase of craft supplies.

The Stryker Friends of the Library have been very influential in building their local library and making it an important part of the community. In 1996 they helped build the new Stryker Branch Library and won an award from the Ohio Library Council naming them Friends Group of the Year.
The Stryker Friends support the Summer Reading Program, Christmas Open House, assist in building maintenance, help supply volunteer recognition gifts, and purchase special ellison dies for library and public use.
