The library is happy to announce a new service for our library patrons. Hoopla allows you to stream movies, music, TV shows and audio books to your mobile device or computer. And all you need is a library card! Like the Ohio Digital Library titles can be borrowed for free with no overdue fees. And with Hoopla there are no waiting lists! All the titles are available all the time. You can get the Hoopla app on iTunes or at the Google Play store. Just go to Hoopladigital.com, choose the Williams County Public Library, sign up with your library card and PIN (ask us if you can't remember your PIN) and begin borrowing and creating favorites lists. You can borrow up to 10 titles a month.
Williams County Public Library invites area children to take part in “Fizz, Boom, Read” for the summer reading programs for 2014. Testing shows that kids who read for fun in the summer do better and forget less when they go back to school. See what your local library has in store for you this summer.
This year the Bryan Library will have an Adult Summer Reading Program called “Literary Elements.” The program, which begins in June, is meant to challenge adults and young adults to read science related literature.
