Are you stressed out over the upcoming tax season? Well worry no more! The Ohio Benefit Bank will be offering free basic tax filing sessions at the Bryan Library on Thursdays from 10:00-5:00 pm beginning Feb. 6th through April 3rd. If your individual income is $65,000 or less you could qualify for free tax filing. One of the Benefit Bank Counselors will be able to assist you with filing your 2013 Federal, State, and School District taxes. There are no fees or charges. E-filing is available and your tax refunds can be directly deposited for free. With this program you can put your money back in your pocket quick, easy, and totally free!
You must make an appointment for your tax session. Please call Community Action at 419-784-2150 ext. 1100 to make an appointment, for more information, or for income limits on Married tax returns. Tax appointments will be held in the Harmon Room of the West Annex Building of the Bryan Library, which is located at 107 E. High Street. This program is sponsored by the Northwestern Ohio Community Action Commission, United Way, and the Ohio Association of Food Banks Harvest Corps.
