Stryker Branch

Will you be making cookies for Valentine’s Day?  If you are and you’d like to learn how to decorate them, Jessica Tingley will be teaching a class on this topic at the Stryker Branch Library on Monday, February 4th, from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm.  The class is free and open to the public, but registration is required and class size is limited to 24.  Participants under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

Come meet Melanie Boulis, author and Library Assistant at the Bryan Library, who will be talking about her book Between Heaven and Healing.  She will also have her book for sale and will be signing copies.

Between Heaven and Healing shares the inspirational story of  a young girl’s journey through terminal cancer and her parents’ eventual realization that faith is not knowing why, but still believing in His goodness and eternal life where all will be made right, where cancer is nonexistent, and where there will be no more tears.

Stryker Public Library would like to invite the public to come to a Health Screening Night on Monday, January 14, between 5:00 and 7:00 pm.  The Williams County Health Department will be on hand to conduct glucose readings, blood pressure checks, and cholesterol checks.  The screening is free, but sign-up is required ahead of time, and there will be a limit of 20 people for the screenings.
