There will be games, snacks, and more! No signup is required. Come celebrate Dr. Seuss at the library while you have time off from school for Spring Break. The Bryan Library is located at 107 E. "Pet Love" @ the Bryan Libray
Submitted by site_admin on 1/29/13 - 5:21 pmThird and fourth graders are invited to the Bryan Library on Feb. 7th at 3:30 pm to an educational time learning about pets and proper pet care. This event is sponsored by Giving Hearts of Williams County Arbor, with Beth Krill from Williams County Humane Society talking about the animal care. There is no cost to the students for this event. If they would like to bring an item that can be used at the Humane Shelter, it will be greatly appreciated.

Submitted by site_admin on 1/18/13 - 9:46 amCome meet Melanie Boulis, author and Library Assistant at the Bryan Library, who will be talking about her book Between Heaven and Healing. She will also have her book for sale and will be signing copies.
Between Heaven and Healing shares the inspirational story of a young girl’s journey through terminal cancer and her parents’ eventual realization that faith is not knowing why, but still believing in His goodness and eternal life where all will be made right, where cancer is nonexistent, and where there will be no more tears.
Children’s Picture Book Workshop
Submitted by site_admin on 1/16/13 - 5:04 pmChildren in the third grade through the fifth grade are invited to come and create their very own picture book at a picture book project workshop on Wednesday, Jan. 30, from 3:30 to 4:30 pm in the Children’s Department of the Main Library in Bryan.
Participants are to write a short story on notebook paper previous to the workshop and bring it to the library with them. Kristine Deleone will be on hand to demonstrate how to design a cover and assemble a picture book based on the stories the students have written.
Sign up for the workshop is required by Jan. 28th, and there will be a limit of 15 students attending the workshop. For more information regarding the picture book workshop, please call Vickie Zippay at 419-636-6734 ext. 243.
